UAA is open and operating a normal schedule today, Friday, Dec. 6, 2013. The National Weather Service Freezing Rain Advisory has expired and weather is expected to improve throughout the day. Current temps in the Anchorage Bowl range from 30–33F, cloudy with very light mist. The Alaska Department of Transportation currently reports Anchorage area roads in mostly fair condition, difficult in spots. Campus Facilities crews continue to scrape and sand main campus roads and walkways. Wear proper footwear as parking lots and walkways are slick. Please use caution while traveling, slow down and allow for extra time to reach your destination.
