What is the LRC?

The Learning Resources Center (LRC) provides all UAA students with resources and opportunities to learn and achieve academic success. As a provider of academic support services, the LRC is an inclusive, supportive learning environment in which students can study or get extra help for their classes.

The LRC offers a number of services, including tutoring, computer access, study materials, and open, quiet, and small group study areas. Tutoring is available in a range of subjects, including reading, writing, English as a Second Language (ESL), world languages, and mathematics.

The Course Reserve Service provides access to many course-related and self-tutoring materials, including textbooks, reference materials, and a wide variety of study aids. Technology assistance is also provided in the open Computer Lab.

The LRC is located is in the Sally Monserud Hall (SMH) on the west end of the UAA campus, next to the Wendy Williamson  Auditorium. Please stop in and see how the LRC can help you succeed!
