FAQs - Employers

Where can I get more information about developing an internship program and hiring UAA students as interns?
We have information on developing and offering internships on our Employer Internship Info webpage. You may also call the UAA Career Services Center at (907) 786-4513.

When is the next career fair and how do I register for it?
Find all the information you need on the Career Fair webpage.

Is there a charge for using the Career Services Center's resources?
It depends. We try to offer as many resources for employers free of charge, such as the use of our interview rooms for on-campus interviewing, the use of our Career Resource Library for presentations (accommodates up to 30 people), the use of our Online Job Database, and posting job flyers on the CSC bulletin boards to advertise the open positions. There is a charge for attending a career fair or on-campus recruiting held outside of the Career Resource Library. While we do not collect fees from employers for the internship program, all interns must be paid at least Alaska's minimum wage.
