Greek Life - Philanthropy

The Greek community at UAA provides services to more than just its members. One of the many advantages of being part of the Greek community is the time spent helping others.

The campus and surrounding Anchorage area are continually reaping the benefits of the Greek community. UAA Drive is even an adopted road by the Fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon, with which they readily maintain every semester as part of their Philanthropy projects. Greeks also sponsor many community service activities throughout the year and participate in the Polar Plunge and the EVA Foundation Gala every year.

During this past year, Greeks have raised thousands of dollars and given hundreds of hours to community service projects. They have worked with the Children's Hospital at Providence, the Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts of America, , The Special Olympics AlaskaEVA Foundation and many more organizations.
