2:30pm-3:30pm SU Lyla Richards Room (103)

Where do the 168 hours you have each week go? This workshop will introduce you to time management techniques that you can use to be more in control of the way you spend your time and your life.


5:30pm-6:30pm SU Lyla Richards Room (103)

College is filled with tests that not only challenge your knowledge of the subject but your test-taking skills as well. This workshop is designed to provide tips for performing effectively on a variety of tests, including multiple choice, essay, true/false, and short answer. Reducing text anxiety is also discussed.


2:30pm-3:30pm SU Lyla Richards Room (103)

Much of the information that is presented in class often contains key concepts likely to be included on exams. Yet, many students struggle with how to listen and take purposeful and meaningful notes in class. Come to our workshop to find out note-taking strategies that will help you be able to better identify key concepts from course lectures and create a note-taking system that works for you.

Stress Management 101 provides opportunities to identify physical and emotional symptoms that let you know when you are under stress, instruction in identifying the types of situations that create stress for you, and training in skills and techniques that will help you manage the stress in your life more effectively.
