For advising on the Psychology degree programs or other social science degree programs, please contact either
April Wilson, SSB 351, or
Deborah Ginsburg, SSB 371,
Academic Advisers for the Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences. Walk ins are welcome but appointments are strongly encouraged.
For advising about specific Psychology classes, please contact one of the Psychology faculty.
Early consultation with an advisor is helpful in selecting courses that will provide a solid foundation in psychology and contribute to a good general education. The faculty advisor is assigned when the psychology major is declared.
Academic advisors can clarify program options and help with choices that must be made in meeting the requirements for the bachelor's degree in psychology. Students may request a different advisor or set up an appointment by contacting the CAS Social Science Student and Graduate Affairs Support (786-1665) or walk in to the Social Science Divisional office, SSB 352.
