Position: Project Manager

Job Description: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects ranging from $10 - $30 million in size. The successful candidate will provide overall management of the project to exceed the project budget and schedule. The position requires experience and capabilities to create and manage a complex construction schedule from start to finish. Expectations include the ability to negotiate and coordinate purchasing, logistics means and methods, crew and equipment mobilization, working and coordinating with the project superintendent, owner, architect, as well as complete project cost tracking and scheduling. They will be expected to organize and conduct project coordination meetings between the Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors with the purpose of identifying and documenting areas of change, resolving conflict, establishing and verifying that contractual requirements are being met. Additionally, the Project Manager will be charged with the thorough understanding of the financial position of the project and working with the staff for accurate financial reporting. This position will have ownership and accountability for the project from start to finish.

Position: Project Engineer/ Assistant Project Manager

Job Description: The successful candidate will be a critical position that will assist the Project Manager with complete project administration and coordination from start to finish. This position will include the responsibility for active participation in the daily assistance of project execution such as ordering materials, assisting field management and rural Alaska logistics. This individual will be the point person in the Anchorage office for ensuring that the project is being built per the plans and contract documents. This includes performing submittal reviews, managing the submittal process, writing and managing the DCVR/RFI process, assisting with as-built drawings, and managing other project documentation as required by the contract. This individual must add to the effective communication between the owner, A/E, subcontractors, and the complete team. This position will act as a liaison in helping to resolve issue related to the projects plans and specifications. The ideal candidate for this position will manage, evaluate and assess large amounts of information to assist construction of the project on time and within budget.

Position: Project Superintendent

Job Description: The Project Superintendent will be responsible for complete project site supervision from start to finish of a project. They will be expected to deliver high quality results with cost effective labor and scheduling in the field. The superintendent is the on-site representative for the client, subcontractors, employees and the public. They must be committed to implementing safe practices in a variety of precarious situations. In they will be responsible for documenting and communicating daily progress with field reports and timecards. They will have responsibility for complete project site management including, but not limited to, receiving deliveries and organizing materials and tools, and reporting changes to the contract documents. The Project Superintendent must work and communicate with the Project Manager and other staff to ensure a successful project.
