Apply for the Fall 2024 semester by May 1, 2024 to be considered.
To qualify, you must:
A first-time freshman is a degree-seeking student who enrolls at UAA with no prior postsecondary experience. Students enrolled in the fall term who attended college for the first time in the prior summer term, or students who entered with advanced standing (college credits earned before graduation from high school) are also considered first-time freshmen.
To receive a Seawolf Start Scholarship:
Students who meet eligibility requirements will be notified by email shortly after the May 1st deadline.
UAA will only notify students who are eligible for the scholarship.

As a Seawolf Start Scholarship recipient, you may later be eligible for the Seawolf Persist Scholarship, an award for continuing students who meet eligibility guidelines. Ensure you maintain your eligibility by checking out the award requirements.
