Community & Belonging

The Community and Belonging (C&B) team is deeply committed to uplifting and celebrating the many student communities at UAA. Community and Belonging includes dedicated spaces for students to study and gather, resources and support, and year-round programming that foster connections and community engagement.

First-Year Experience

First-Year Experience at UAA empowers students with institutional fluency and the skills they need to achieve their goals. The First-Year Experience office is dedicated to working with campus partners to eliminate institutional barriers and build systems that are set up for every student to succeed.

Student Union

The Student Union is space and connection for programming and events on campus. Within the physical space, there is the Seawolf Grounds coffee shop and Esports lounge. The Student Activities team includes Concert Board and Green Fee Board and all of these opportunities are provided for students to build an engaged campus community.
