The 2024 Behavioral Sciences Conference of the North (BSCN) presentation winner was "Addressing the Gap: Measurement Strategies to Understand the Impact of School Resource Officers in Alaska" presented by Jasmine Jones!

On Friday, May 3, 5-7 p.m. in the Arc Gallery at UAA/APU Consortium Library, UAA Department of Arts faculty member, Herminia Din, Ph.D., will present a solo exhibition, ‘Creative Practice of Sustainable Art in the Arctic (2003-2024)’, featuring work spanning her career at UAA as she retires from the university.

Multicultural Student Services (MSS) Annual Graduation Celebration: This event specifically centers and celebrates students who identify as Black, African American, Indigenous, Native American, Hispanic, Latine/x/a/o, Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern and North African, multiracial or mixed heritage; students who practice minoritized religions; and international students.

Lavender Graduation is a celebration of the accomplishments and achievements of undergraduate and graduate students who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, aromantic, asexual, agender, non-binary, pansexual, same-gender-loving, two-spirit, allied, and all others connected to the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

You’re invited to the last Mission Moments Workshop of the 2023-2024 academic year. This workshop series, hosted by Andrea Lee Miller and Rhiannon Calkins, explores the themes of the UAA mission, vision, aspirations and core learning competencies.
