Kaela Parks, director of Disability Support Services, co-authors book chapter on returning veteran transitioning into college

I am pleased to share with you another outstanding accomplishment from one of our Student Affairs colleagues. Kaela Parks, director of Disability Support Services, co-authored chapter eight in the newest publication from NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, More Than Listening:  A Casebook for Using Counseling Skills in Student Affairs Work. Kaela's chapter is entitled "Returning Veteran with an Acquired Disability:  Laurie" and she co-authored it with Nona L. Wilson and Ruth Harper. It is a well-written and insightful look into the challenges many disabled veterans face transiting to college after life in Iraq.

Please join me in congratulating Kaela on her accomplishment.
