Fall 2010: Office of Dean of Students to host monthly workshop on addressing disruptive student behavior

On Friday, Nov. 19, the Dean of Students Office is hosting a monthly workshop for faculty and staff members regarding how to address disruptive student behavior.

Professor of Counseling Michael Turner and Assistant Director of Student Conduct Michael Votava will be presenting. During the workshop, Turner and Votava will talk about methods to address disruptive student behavior, provide an overview of UAA's student conduct process and introduce UAA's Care Team. At the end of the workshop, faculty and staff members will have the opportunity to consult with the presenters about current cases of disruptive student behavior they are experiencing.
