The Department of Residence Life invites you to participate in the Staff, Faculty & Student Open Forum for Erica Khan, candidate for the Alaska Native, Indigenous & Rural Outreach Program (ANIROP) Coordinator. The Open Forum will be held on Friday, Sept. 8, 2023 from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. in the Student Union Den.

All staff members, faculty members, students and interested community members are welcome to attend. The candidate will begin the session with a presentation lasting no long than 20 minutes on the following topic:

"Taking into consideration the unique needs of all three constituency groups identified in this position's title (Alaska Native students, Indigenous students and students from rural parts of Alaska), outline the strategies you will use to connect with and support students in your role."

Following the presentation, the floor will be open to questions from attendees to the candidate and vice versa. Questions regarding the search process can be directed towards the Search Committee Chair and Hiring Authority, Ryan J. Hill, at rjhill4@alaska.edu.
