Center for Economic Development's Johnson and Mills earn new professional certification

by Green & Gold News  |

Alaska’s community of Certified Economic Development professionals grew from two to four last week! UAA BEI's Center for Economic Development staff members, Richelle Johnson and Ian Mills, recently passed their Certified Economic Developer exams.

The Certified Economic Developer program is a professional certification administered by the International Economic Development Council. To earn the certification candidates must complete coursework specific to the economic development profession, work in the field for six years, and complete a rigorous exam process. Ian and Richelle join a network of more that 1,100 other economic developers across the world with the certification.

Please join us in congratulating Ian and Richelle!
