The Arctic Leadership Initiative is searching for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in an Arctic Leadership Initiative student cohort. This spring, the student cohort will meet monthly with postdocs and early career faculty in the initiative to develop networking skills.

The cohort will also attend a leadership retreat and Arctic Encounters Symposium in Anchorage from April 1-4, 2025 where they will meet with Arctic leaders from around the world. Applicants must be able to attend lectures provided as a part of the Arctic Leadership course (PS 493 or PS 693) and attend monthly cohort discussions in the lead up to the April retreat and Arctic Encounter Symposium. A tuition waiver is available for those wishing to take the class for credit.

The deadline for application is Jan. 6, 2025.
