Environmental Health & Safety and Risk Management
MISSION STATEMENT
As a service department, Environmental Health and Safety and Risk Management will support the mission of the University of Alaska Anchorage by:
- Promoting a safe learning and work environment by anticipating, evaluating, and managing occupational and environmental hazards
- Providing good stewardship of state resources through promoting efficient and effective materials management
- Providing training and guidance on health and safety matters with professionalism and integrity
- Complying with applicable environmental health and safety laws and regulations
Online Incident Reporting
Report unsafe conditions (e.g. uneven sidewalks), incidents/ accidents (e.g. slip and fall on ice, cuts requiring first aid, calling EMS or sending someone for medical evaluation), and other safety concerns on campus.
DO NOT USE THIS FORM TO REPORT AN EMERGENCY OR AN IMMEDIATE LIFE THREATENING HAZARD. CALL 911.
For immediate emergency response, call 911 or the UAA University Police Department dispatch at (907-786-1120).
Use this form after safety showers and/or emergency eye wash stations are used, or needed medical attention has been arranged.
