Faculty Senate Academic Assessment Committee
Purpose/Charge
The Faculty Senate Academic Assessment Committee (AAC) is a standing committee of the Faculty Senate. The AAC was created to provide peer leadership, support, and review of academic assessment. The AAC serves as a cross-campus forum for the exchange of ideas, information, and advice on methods and practices of academic assessment, with a focus on improving student learning. The Committee plays a major role in supporting program faculty, encouraging programs to focus on assessment that is meaningful, manageable, and organically connected to their direct work with students.
