Advising Steps

The Army ROTC program is committed to helping students successfully navigate the university’s academic environment. All students must meet with an academic advisor in their college prior to beginning any program of study.

First-year Community & Technical College (CTC) majors, as well as any student enrolled in preparatory and developmental courses, should meet with a First Year Advisor.

Students are encouraged to meet each semester for the purpose of reviewing their academic progress and planning future courses. The academic advisor will be able to assist students in the appropriate course sequence. It is particularly important for students to meet with their advisor whenever academic difficulties arise. 

Cadre Advisors

Cadets should consult their cadre for specifics regarding the requirements of the Army ROTC program.
