First Thursday Emergency Management Training

UAA Emergency Management invites you to attend next month's First Thursday Emergency Management Training on 5/4/2023 at 9 a.m. This topic-based training series is designed to get you involved in your own safety and ask questions you may have about emergency preparedness.

Temporary Guest Services Representative Position

Campus Services works with multiple conference groups and visiting guests each summer. Event Services provides housing accommodations within the (3) Residence Halls for short term guest stays, and MAC/Templewood Apartments for long term guest stays.

Student Assistants for UAA Student Advising

UAA Student Advising is seeking applicants for the position of Academic Advising Student Assistant to aid students in completing priority advising and registration next steps, connecting them to academic advisors, scheduling academic advising appointments, and routing students to appropriate offices for additional assistance.

Help celebrate the UAA/APU Consortium Library’s 50th anniversary on April 25th at 4pm in Library 307. There will be food, music, and of course a birthday cake to recognize the Consortium Library which started in 1973.

Catherine Haese

Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner alumna Catherine Haese will serve as graduate student speaker at the Spring 2023 Commencement ceremony before starting her new position at Eagle River Behavioral Health where she will use her personal experience to foster addiction recovery solutions and treat mental health issues.

UAA Athletics and the Anchorage Mayor's Marathon would like to invite you, your peers and your coworkers to participate in this year's relays at the Anchorage Mayor's Marathon on June 17! Run in the Marathon Relay (4 people) or the Half Marathon Relay (2 people).
