Dear UAA Community, As you may already be aware, Ramadan started on March 10 and will last for 30 days until April 9 or 10, depending on the moon. Ramadan is observed by Muslim communities as a holy month.

Sober Seawolves, the on campus support group, has moved to a new day and time. Gatherings are now Wednesdays 7-8 p.m. in RH 204 and follow the AA open meeting format. Coffee and tea are provided.

The UAA Center for Community Engagement and Learning (CCEL) has opened a request for proposals (RFP) for the annual Selkregg Community Engagement & Service Learning Award. This $5,000 award supports a UAA faculty member in developing community-based research, creative activity and course-based service learning projects.

Operating hours for UAA IT Technical Support Center will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. over spring break March 11-14, 2024. Closed on Friday, March 15. Open on Sunday March 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
