As Zoom security has been prevalent in the news, we want to make sure that everyone is aware not only of best practices related to security working remotely but also using video conferencing platforms like Zoom.

If you have purchased a parking permit for the 2019-2020 academic year or 2020 spring semester, you may be eligible to receive a partial refund for your spring parking permit due to COVID-19.

You can get some items delivered from the library without leaving your home. Document Delivery is a service that allows you to order items held in the library's print collection including book chapters and journal and newspaper articles. And if we don't have it, you can try Interlibrary Loan and borrow materials from libraries around the world.

On April 14, we were notified of two COVID-19 incidents within Anchorage campus facilities. Since these are the first confirmed cases related to COVID-19 on the UAA campus, we want the university community to be aware of the process that follows the report of a confirmed COVID-19 case.

This year's Juried Student Art Show was moved online! UAA students could enter up to two pieces in the show. Our guest juror, Amy Johnson, was also able to award up to $2,000 in cash prizes! David Joel came out with Best In Show with his "And then there was light" piece (pictured), along with over 15 other amazing entries from various artists.

Priority registration for fall 2020 begins April 3 for graduate students, April 6 for UAA seniors, April 7 for UAA juniors, April 8 for UAA sophomores, April 9 for UAA freshmen, April 13 for incoming UAA students with pending fall admission applications, and open registration begins April 20. Please make sure to contact your advisor for help creating your fall 2020 schedule.
