Alternate course delivery extended through summer session

UAA is extending alternate course delivery through the summer 2020 semester to ensure the health and safety of our students and employees. This decision allows us to plan course offerings for the summer semester and maximize the number of courses we can offer you via alternate delivery methods.

The Library is Open!

The library is open to support you. The building offers reliable high-speed access to the internet including WiFi service allowing students to search the library's online and onsite collections. Laptop computers and headphones are available for use for online classes. There is an open computer lab and ample study space that permits proper social distancing.

$2,500 for early innovation travel grants

The Alaska Foundational Innovation Corps program, or I-Corps, is seeking new participants who could benefit from a $2,500 travel grant to conduct market research for their idea.

Claudia Lampman, vice provost for student success, asked students to share their best tips for successful online learning. UAA students are resourceful and above all helpful. Within 24 hours, nearly 200 students responded to her request. Here's what they had to say.

April 13 and 14: UA Board of Regents committee meeting to discuss Expedited Program Review

On Thursday, April 9, the UA Board of Regents will hear public testimony by telephone from 4–5 p.m. The special public testimony session will be one of several opportunities to share your perspectives on proposed academic changes directly with regents. Details on that public testimony will be forthcoming.
