IT Services will be sending out personalized Online Directory update notifications on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018, to all UAA employees.

Important notice about FERPA and course merging in Blackboard

During the spring semester the Registrar's Office learned that course sections were being inappropriately merged in Blackboard. For example, four sections of COMM A111 were being merged so a faculty member could manage all four sections as if they were one. This practice cannot continue because it isn't permissible under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
