More than 1,100 UAA students slated to graduate this fall

The University of Alaska Anchorage will celebrate the fall Class of 2019 graduates at 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 15, in the Alaska Airlines Center. The ceremony honors the accomplishments of more than 1,100 undergraduate, graduate and professional school students from the Anchorage campus.

This Saturday marks the first anniversary of the magnitude 7.1 earthquake that struck about 8 miles north of Anchorage, Alaska on Nov. 30, 2018. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we look back and appreciate all they did, and we are grateful no one was hurt.
