Claudia Lampman to assume role of interim vice provost for student success

Following a thorough internal search process, Dr. Claudia Lampman has been appointed interim vice provost for student success. She will begin in this new role on Nov. 1, 2017. Dr. Lampman is passionate about student success and has demonstrated a willingness and ability to break down barriers, to build bridges across disciplines and departments, and to lead UAA to meet the goals of UAA 2020 and beyond.

UAA's 2017 Security and Fire Safety Report now available

UAA’s 2017 Security & Fire Safety Report contains information regarding campus security, personal safety and crime statistics for the three previous years. It is now available online at uaa.alaska.edu/safety. Physical copies may be picked up at the Dean of Students office in RH 122.

UAA names economics laboratory in honor of Nobel laureate and former professor Vernon Smith

Vernon Smith's work expanded researchers’ knowledge of economic behavior and laid the foundation for the new field of experimental economics. The dedication of this laboratory in Smith's name serves to honor his remarkable legacy.

UAA IT Services will be rolling out OneDrive for Business to a university computer near you this fall/winter. OneDrive for Business enables you to store, sync and share up to 5 TB of your files to cloud storage.
