The Learning Commons has moved to its newly renovated space on the 1st Floor of the Consortium Library! With Sally Monserud Hall soon to be renovated for Nursing simulation labs, the services of the Learning Commons were given a new home in the library.

In February, selected UAA students will have the opportunity to take the National College Health Assessment (NCHA). This survey will offer invaluable insight on UAA students on a range of topics including substance use, mental health, sexual health and sleep.

Seawolf Dining at the UAA proudly announces the appointment of a new, seasoned culinary professional to the helm of its dining operations. Bringing over two decades of versatile experience, Chef Valerie Blaydes joins the Seawolf Dining team with a proven track record of elevating dining experiences across diverse settings.

Seawolf Dining is thrilled to announce the overwhelming success of the fall Swipe Away Hunger campaign, a campus-wide initiative to combat food insecurity among students. The campaign, which concluded on Dec. 18, saw an unprecedented surge in generosity, with a remarkable 31% increase in meal swipes donated compared to the spring semester of 2023.

As the new semester is around the corner, textbook costs can add up quickly. However, don't forget to check the Course Reserves section of the Consortium Library for your required textbooks.
