Native Student Services invites incoming students to register for Fall 2018 Native Early Transition (NET) program

Native Student Services (NSS) wants to help new students transition from their hometown to UAA and from high school to college. One way we can help is through the Native Early Transition (NET) program. This year's program will run Aug. 20–24 on the UAA campus. Learn more and register.

Dr. Jeane T'áaw xÍwaa Breinig, interim associate vice chancellor of Alaska Natives and diversity and professor of English at the University of Alaska Anchorage, will receive the 2018 Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence for her outstanding contributions to the University of Alaska.

U-Pass celebrates 20-year partnership between UAA and People Mover

This year marks the 20th anniversary of U-Pass! The program is a partnership between UAA and People Mover that provides free bus rides to students, faculty and staff just by swiping their WOLFcard. Both organizations will be celebrating the milestone with a year's worth of special events.
