Business Plan Competition finalists to square off in Perfect Pitch finale

The Business Plan Competition is more exciting than ever, according to organizer Dr. Helena S. Wisniewski. “The finalists are outstanding. The program was just starting out when the pandemic hit, so this is the first year we will have an in-person finale.”

KPC adopts new 'realities' for process technology classes

Starting in Fall Semester 2022, KPC’s process technology (PRT) program will enhance its AAS offerings by employing immersive reality in its classes. The PRT program has been awarded a Technical Vocational Education Program Grant to create web-accessible labs using the “360 Immersive Reality” program.

University of Alaska System nears $200 million fundraising goal

The University of Alaska System’s $200 million fundraising goal is within reach, according to a report shared with the University of Alaska Foundation Board of Directors at its March 2 meeting in Juneau. As of December 2021, more than $175 million in private donations have been contributed by alumni, friends, companies and private organizations, including 35 gifts of $1 million or more.
