Sunday's UAA Commencement ceremony at the Sullivan Arena was the obvious pinnacle of an academic year and a personal achievement for graduates. UAA conferred 2,421 degrees on 2,315 graduates.* Significant as the numbers are, they don't really tell the story of the Class of 2013. Getting your arms around more than 2,000 graduation stories is a tall order, so here are some of the highlights.

For the second year in a row, UAA has graduated two doctoral candidates in clinical-community psychology with a rural indigenous emphasis. Learn more about Ruth Zuniga and Tina Woods, this year's grads, as well as Erin Johnson, a 2012 graduate of the program, and Rebecca Volino Robinson, who will graduate in August.
