Thanksgiving break gear rental deal

The holiday season is upon us! Stop in at the Student Union Gear Room/Information Desk any time this week between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to check out the rental gear we have in stock! For just this week only we are offering a discount on Weeklong Cross Country Ski Rentals. $35 gets you cross-country skis, boots, and poles! Our stock is limited, so come check us out before it's too late!

Thanksgiving break: No classes Nov. 24-26; campus closed Nov. 25 and 26

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no classes Nov. 24-26 and campus will be closed Nov. 25 and 26. See below for details about special hours around campus during the week.

Crisis communications test Tuesday, Nov. 23

At 10 a.m. Nov. 23, the Office of Emergency Management will conduct a test of the emergency alert capability that sends a pop-up message to your work station computer. The alert can easily be acknowledged and dismissed with a key stroke. This feature of our alerting options did not work well when used last month during the earthquake drill, and software updates since then have reportedly fixed the issue.

Join us for Turkey Tuesday, USUAA Thanksgiving Feast, on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 4:30-7 p.m. at the Gorsuch Commons. Celebrating the season of giving by providing a Thanksgiving feast to the UAA community. Open only to UAA students, faculty and staff.

Faculty, RSVP for fall commencements

Faculty, you are invited to participate in UAA’s Fall 2021 Commencement ceremonies. The ceremonial hooding of master’s and doctoral degree candidates will be included in each commencement.
