College of Engineering is seeking a candidate to lead/participate in student recruitment efforts, including organization of events for prospective students, development of materials and presentations, conducting classroom presentations, and representing the college at high schools and college and career fairs. Work with recruitment office to ensure efforts are not being duplicated as well as to pool resources and streamline processes. Develop original digital and print materials for the marketing of College of Engineering.

The Alaska NSF EPSCoR Fire & Ice project announces the availability of funding to enable UA faculty, staff and students to present their research, to interact with colleagues and mentors, and/or to obtain training. Grants may be used for travel to, or remote attendance at, conferences, workshops, trainings, or other appropriate academic settings. Awards are for up to $3,500 and cover domestic travel only (remote participation in international events is allowed). Application deadline is rolling through August 31, 2021 and travel or participation must be completed by September 30, 2021.

Prince William Sound College in Valdez is hiring Summer Camp Mentors for the Alaska Tech Learners program. Come join our team for 4 weeks in July (June 30 - July 27)! AK Tech Camp students are engaged in instructional activities during the day and recreational activities in the late afternoon/evenings.

UAA's Fleet Transportation is a fast-paced, integral University service department providing fleet, generator and small equipment maintenance and support to campus partners. Fleet Transportation is currently seeking a Fleet Technician to assist mechanics with a variety of necessary fleet maintenance duties and tasks associated with efficient, safe and friendly service operations.

The UAA Office of the Bursar will be closing to in-person services at noon on Wednesday, June 30 for fiscal year end processing. All department deposits are due to the Cashiering Office (located in Eugene Short Hall, suite 102) no later than noon on June 30. Student account access through UAOnline will be available until 3 p.m. Regular business hours will resume Thursday, July 1.

Calling all future engineers! There's still room for more virtual campers in the UAA Summer Engineering Academies. Our camps include 3D Printing and Design, Creative Coding, Minecraft Coding, and LEGO Robotics Junior. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of ConocoPhillips and the MTA Foundation, the weeklong camps cost only $100 and tuition waivers are available for families with financial need.

UAA Disability Support Services is proud to announce two new software programs available for all learners. Read&Write is a big confidence booster for anyone who needs a little support with their reading and writing, at school or in the workplace. EquatIO software allows learners to create mathematical equations, formulas (and more!) directly on their computer or device.
