Fall move-in is just around the corner and we are gearing up for a full house with an estimated 740 residents! We know our campus partners and student organizations will be looking for ways to engage and welcome our new (and returning) residents.

Starting July 22, 2024, the University of Alaska Anchorage has changed the beer and wine approval process for events on and off the UAA campus.

GSS (Mailroom, Copy & Print Center, Surplus, Recycling) will close early at 11:30 am on Wednesday, July 24.

UAA Financial Services (Office of the Bursar, Accounts Payable & Travel, Financial Systems, and Wolfcard) will be closed Wednesday, July 24 for a staff event.

Enrollment Services will be closed, Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 for an all-staff training. We will be open on Thursday with normal hours.

Catch UAA's last Concert in the Quad of the summer on Tuesday, July 23, 11:30 a.m.-1p.m. in the Cuddy Quad, featuring performer Emma Hill. Faculty, staff, students, alumni and the public are all invited to attend.

The University of Alaska is currently piloting Zoom AI Companion, an innovative tool designed to enhance meeting productivity and efficiency. This pilot program will run until July 26 and help us prepare for the full university launch on Aug. 9.

The UAA IT Technical Support Center staff will be attending a training class for the dates of July 15-18, 2024. There will be limited staffing during that training. Contacting the TSC may take longer than normal and hold times may increase as well. Messages that are left will be followed up on ASAP. We apologize for the inconvenience.

To allow for a holiday weekend the Technical Support Center (TSC) will not be open this Sunday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. as normally scheduled. All messages left will be followed up on Monday, July 8, 2024 between our normal hours of 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Thank you for your understanding and enjoy your holiday weekend.
