UAA IT Services December 2022 update

Alaska Airlines has generously donated vouchers to be used for special projects at UAA, which support the mission of the university. UAA departments are invited to submit a project proposal that would benefit from the use of these tickets.

The UAA School of Nursing faculty invite you to celebrate Dr. Jill Janke’s retirement after 41 years of service to the university. Please join us on Friday, Dec. 9, 2022 in the Student Union Den from 4:30-6:30 p.m. to share snacks and stories.

There will be a hockey game on Friday, Dec. 16 at 7:00 and on Saturday Dec. 17 against Alaska Fairbanks at the Sports Complex.

UAA Information Technology Services is available to help students, faculty, and staff over the winter break! The IT Technical Support Center (TSC) will be open on select days, and the IT office will be available by appointment.

There is a new place to get coffee on the west side of campus! Open 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday-Thursday in Lucy Cuddy Hall.

UAA students can get a FREE soup and dinner roll on December 14 from 1-3 p.m. in the Rasmuson Hall lobby. Vegetarian options will be available. Lunch is generously donated by the Seawolf Dining and Catering!

The rate for IT Field Services has been approved for FY23. The Field Services labor rate for billable services remains at $100 per hour. JVs for FY23 Field Services workorders will start being processed this week.
