The 30th Annual Valdez Theatre Conference takes place June 11-18. This year, there will be 55 developmental Play Lab readings. The authors are in attendance, and afterward, they receive feedback from a panel of professionals.

Live on campus and save money through UAA’s Live and Learn in Alaska Initiative

UAA students who are charged the non-resident tuition rate can now save up to $566 per credit hour while enjoying the benefits and support offered to students who live on-campus through the Live and Learn in Alaska Initiative.

Evaluation of UAA’s next LMS continues and a final decision will be shared soon. UAA will continue to use Blackboard Learn as our primary online course space for Summer and Fall 2022. Fall Blackboard shells are available for editing now.

PWSC's Alaska Tech Learners featured in STEM For All video showcase

Prince William Sound College’s “Alaska Tech Learners” (ATL) dual enrollment web engineering program will be highlighted at the 2022 STEM for All Video Showcase: Access, Inclusion, and Equity. Now in its eighth year, the annual showcase features over 250 innovative projects aimed at improving Science, Technology, Math, Engineering, and Computer Science education.

UAA gymnasts ask community to help 'Stick the Landing'

The University of Alaska Anchorage Gymnastics team is asking the community to help "Stick the Landing" – a final fundraising effort to gain reinstatement. The collegiate gymnastics team must raise $150,000 dollars by June 30, 2022, for permanent reinstatement by the university.
