There’s no denying that Cole M. Robbins is an intriguing gal. Beyond her rad looks and keen sense of style, there is a woman empowered by relationships, challenged by art and fascinated by people, their connections and the decisions that shape them. This woman is fierce.

UAA’s associate athletic director, Kevin Silver, has seen the university change, grow and expand from the small community college of the 1970s to the campus it is now, but he feels that the heart of UAA has remained the same—the students.

He came to the U.S. from the Philippines with his family in 1987, on the heels of the bloodless People Power Revolution that ousted Ferdinand Marcos. Although just 12 years old, he understood that people with passion can effect change. Gabe works for community-level change in the field of public health.
