Announcing new Chief Human Resources Officer Memry Dahl

I’m pleased to announce that UAA alumna Memry Dahl will serve as the system’s new Chief Human Resources Officer. She will begin on April 13, will be based in Anchorage, and is committed to spending adequate time in Fairbanks and Juneau.

Legislators have postponed operating budget conversations while they wait for the release of the Spring Revenue Forecast later this week. In the meantime, the House has been considering deferred maintenance capital requests.

Welcome back! Here’s what to expect on campus

Now that you’re back on campus, I want to remind you about our new mask policy. Masks are now optional inside all UAA facilities at all UAA campuses. This includes classrooms, residential buildings, offices, cubicles, in campus vehicles with others, outside and at university-sponsored activities.

COVID home tests at the Consortium Library

UAA Risk Management has once again provided the Consortium Library with home COVID-19 test kits to distribute to students, staff and faculty. The kits include two rapid home tests offering results within 15 minutes. These are best used if you are experiencing symptoms. Please come to the Main Circulation Desk to pick up the test kits for you and your family at your earliest convenience.
