Congratulations to Corrie Whitmore, assistant professor of health sciences, on being elected as president of the Board of Directors for the American Evaluation Association, a professional association of evaluators with approximately 6,000 members representing all 50 states in the U.S. as well as more than 80 foreign countries.

It is never too late to place textbooks and other course materials on reserve for your students at the Library. We all know that there are ever-rising education costs, the consideration of textbook affordability is an opportunity for us to support our students, and Course Reserves are one way to enhance student success. A new year brings new challenges

As we begin spring semester, I want to acknowledge the recent challenges our community members have faced. Illness and personal loss, widespread weather-related damage, extreme travel delays and related expenses, and a host of other challenges have made the transition to the new year particularly difficult.
