2021-22 UAA Shuttle Program Suspension and Review

During the 2020-2021 academic year a collaborative decision was made to suspend on-campus shuttle services. In early 2021, campus leaders again evaluated a number of criteria including, dwindling ridership, appropriate service levels based on reduced ridership trends, funding, and COVID impacts relating to "mass" transit and the decision was made to continue pausing the shuttle program through this academic year.

Remember to get your new WolfCard

WolfCard being swiped for building access on UAA campus

Don't forget to get your new "chip" WolfCard if you didn't get one already as you return to campus. You will need it to gain access to your building. You can identify if your card is chip-enabled by looking to see if it has a small, blue "HID" logo on the back in the upper left corner. If you do need a new WolfCard, you can get it at the Cashiering Office in Eugene Short Hall, Suite 102.

The UAA Office of Emergency Management (OEM) asks that you remember to “Drop! Cover! Hold on!” — which means we should drop to the floor, duck under a sturdy piece of furniture if possible, and hold on to that desk or table as it moves.

He retired in 2017 after 14 years with UAA, much of that time as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities and Campus Services. Following his retirement, he was granted Staff Emeritus status.
