Register for Lean Six Sigma Training on May 25, 2017

The Lean Center of Excellence is hosting our next White Belt Lean Six Sigma training on Thursday, May 25, from 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Registration is now open to all UA staff and faculty.

Seawolf Shuttle summer 2017 schedule now online

The summer Seawolf Shuttle route schedule is posted online. During the summer 2017 semester, shuttles will operate daily (Monday–Friday) from 8:15 a.m.–4:45 p.m.

Wednesday, May 17, is Anchorage's Bike to Work Day. We have a team registered as "Spirit Riders." All are welcome to join and enjoy the day. Cyclists can enjoy free BBQ in the Cuddy Quad starting at 11:30 a.m.

May 17, 2017: University of Akureyri professors to discuss Iceland's fisheries at ISER talk

Hreiðar Þór Valtýsson and Hordur Saevaldsson are both assistant professors in the School of Business and Science at the University of Akureyri in Iceland. At ISER, they will each talk about aspects of Iceland's fisheries, which have for centuries been the main pillar of the Icelandic economy.
