Flu and COVID-19 vaccines will be provided at the Fall Health and Wellness Fair next week on Thursday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Student Union Cafeteria. Flu shots are $15 and COVID boosters are free! All students, staff and faculty are eligible — bring ID and insurance card (if applicable). Cash not accepted; students can charge account. There will also be free pie!

Save the date for two upcoming trainings offered by ComPsych: Preventing Burnout on Nov. 17; and Acceptance of Others on Dec. 8. Trainings are free for all employees.

Enrollment Services is looking for people in the UAA community who want to help volunteer to recruit new students. Each event volunteered for earns you an exclusive piece of UAA Swag!

Your contribution to the UAA Faculty and Staff Association is needed for our advocacy efforts for the 2024 legislative session, the August primary and the November general election.

The Program Committee is seeking session proposals related to all aspects of archival/library practice, theory or research that is broadly related to the theme. Any and all ideas are welcome! Join the College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP) for our Cultural Perspectives (formerly DEI&B) Workshop Series. The series kickoff on Nov. 3, 2023, from 12 - 1:30 p.m., with “Disrupt Aging Classroom” presented by AARP.

Individual undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines at the University of Alaska are eligible and invited to apply for an award of $2,500 to support their research using the Alaska and Polar Regions Collections & Archives (APRCA) at the Elmer E. Rasmuson Library. One award is available annually.
