UAA to remain mostly remote for spring 2021 semester

UAA's spring 2021 semester will continue with most classes being offered via distance learning.

Given infection patterns and the likelihood we will not see much improvement between now and the start of spring semester classes, we will continue to use mostly alternate course delivery with limited face-to-face courses.

Chancellor update on BOR athletics decision

During its full board meeting Sept. 10, the University of Alaska Board of Regents agreed to maintain men’s and women’s nordic (cross-country skiing) programs based on a revised recommendation from UAA Chancellor Cathy Sandeen.
