Students, you can find out if your instructor has placed any course materials including textbooks on reserve at the Consortium Library. If you cannot find a particular item on course reserve, ask your instructor about possible availability.

Alaska INBRE announces Dr. Jay C. Butler to serve on the External Advisory Committee (EAC). Dr. Butler held a position on the EAC previously from 2005 to 2012.

UAA Dental Hygiene Program accepting patients for low-cost Dental Cleanings

Our dental hygiene students provide dental services to students, staff, faculty, and community members during the academic year from September through April. Costs are less than private dental practices; however, the time needed to complete each service takes longer. X-rays are taken only at the request of the on-site dentist or with written approval from a personal dentist.

Free textbooks for spring semester!

Did you know that UAA is offering 1,000 spring 2022 course sections that have ZERO textbook costs (ZTC)? If you are enrolled in one of these course sections, any required textbooks and similar course materials for it should be available to you for FREE (may be limited to online format only)!

Welcome to spring semester!

Despite the challenges of these times, I hope everyone had a much needed break during the holiday closure. I want to welcome you to the spring semester. This semester, UAA leadership and faculty are not only focused on learning and career preparation, but also the health and safety of the UAA community. In light of an uptick of COVID-19 cases in Alaska, I am sharing new information to help you prepare for a successful semester.

Important update on spring 2022 course delivery

UAA has made the decision to temporarily allow instructors to shift their courses to remote delivery for the first two weeks of spring semester. Your instructor will let you know about their decision in an email and also on Blackboard. If you have questions, please contact your instructor.
