On April 14, we were notified of two COVID-19 incidents within Anchorage campus facilities. Since these are the first confirmed cases related to COVID-19 on the UAA campus, we want the university community to be aware of the process that follows the report of a confirmed COVID-19 case.

Please note that there will be a scheduled outage of UAOnline on Thursday, April 30, from 5 p.m. until about midnight. The university system always tries to schedule outages outside of final grading periods.

Juried Student Art Show awards nearly $2,000 in prizes to students

This year's Juried Student Art Show was moved online! UAA students could enter up to two pieces in the show. Our guest juror, Amy Johnson, was also able to award up to $2,000 in cash prizes! David Joel came out with Best In Show with his "And then there was light" piece (pictured), along with over 15 other amazing entries from various artists.

The Student Health and Counseling Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for students. Some telehealth is available!

The Library is Open!

The library is open to support you. The building offers reliable high-speed access to the internet including WiFi service allowing students to search the library's online and onsite collections. Laptop computers and headphones are available for use for online classes. There is an open computer lab and ample study space that permits proper social distancing.
