IPY starts March

The International Polar Year begins on March 1. Joanne Thordarson is now working to coordinate research information and activities of UAA with local and statewide IPY committees. Joanne continues as the Research Compliance Administrator for UAA. Starting immediately, Jennifer Howell (anjhg@uaa.alaska.edu) will serve as Dr. Douglas Causey's Executive Assistant. Ms. Howell can be contacted for scheduling, correspondence and similar matters at 786.1196.
Shelley Chapman will be responsible for the day to day operations of all components of the Office of the Vice Provost of Research and Graduate Studies. Karol Weatherby will continue as the Manager of Grants and Contracts.
