Join the Community and Technical College in celebrating Career and Technical Education month

Training and education for the fastest growing occupations are available within the Community and Technical College at UAA

, and this month we are celebrating our students and program successes. Here are some recent highlights from the Computer Technologies division:

 

• Converted a generic classroom at the Elmendorf Air Force Base Education Center into a computerized classroom in anticipation of increasing Computer and Networking Technology course offerings next year.
• Students benefited from approximately $30,000 worth of new equipment.
• Students now have modern digital oscilloscopes and function generations in lab to replace aging units.
• Offered more open-entry courses, increasing student opportunity to complete courses needed to graduate.
