Complex Lecture Series kicks off with two free lectures by Ellen Levy

The UAA Complex Systems Groups begins its spring 2007 lecture series by presenting Ellen Levy, a New York-based artist and teacher at Brooklyn College for two free lectures on Friday, March 30 at noon and 7:30 p.m. Levy's lectures will explore the implications of this observation, examining the ways some artists visualize such processes as growth, evolution and innovation. Levy's first lecture, Redefining Life: Artistic Research in Complex Systems will be held at noon in PSB 166. Her second lecture, Converging Lineages: Art and Complex Systems will be help at 7:30 p.m. in SSB 118. Both lectures are free and open to the public.
