UAA piano professor rocks Beijing

UAA Professor of Piano, Dr. Timothy Smith, performed in a two piano concerto with pianist Sa Chen and the Chinese National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Terje Mikklesen. The piece, entitled A Green Call, was played in Beijing on March 2 at the Poly Plaza Theatre. The piece, which included visuals, was intended to encourage the pursuit environmental sustainability in China. This extremely successful production, sponsored by The World Bank, was broadcast on Chinese television. A second performance is scheduled on March 27.
