The University Sinfonia will showcase their skills during their 2007 spring concert in UAA's Arts Building Recital Hall on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m.

The featured works will include two of Vivaldi's most famous violin concerti, chamber works of Haydn, the Rumanian Folk Dances by Bela Bartok and the Csardas by American composer Michael McLean. The final work of the evening will be lead professor Olivares at the piano.

The UAA Sinfonia presents three popular concerts a year. Olivares said the combination of UAA string majors with some of the most gifted young string players from Anchorage makes this event particularly special.
