UPD needs your help DELAYED Phone location verification test

Technical delays with the new telephone system on campus require the postponement of the emergency test scheduled for May 30.

UAA needs to test the Caller ID component of the new emergency system being implemented by IT. In the event of an emergency, it is vital that police dispatch have accurate information regarding the location of a caller. This test will allow UPD to verify that system data is accurate in reference to your work site. Soon you will be told to dial 866 during the time period listed for your building. Your police department will have extra emergency dispatchers on duty to handle your call.

  • 10-11 a.m. - Wendy Williamson, Sally Monserud, Pro Studies, Beatrice McDonald, Cuddy Hall, Gordon Hartlieb, Auto/Diesel Tech
  • 11-Noon - Rasmuson, Eugene Short, Allied Health, Sports Complex, Student Union, ANSEP
  • Noon-1 p.m. - Engineering, Science, EBL, Social Sciences, Library, University Center
  • 1-2 p.m. - Admin, Arts, ULB, Diplomacy, Aviation, ENRI
