Used UAA dental chairs see the world

The dental clinic in the Allied Health Sciences Building is currently being remodeled. The new clinic will increase from 16 to 21 dental operatories, a lab, a large classroom and faculty offices. The dental clinic plans to provide their old, but very workable, dental chairs to the Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center and other non profit organizations in Alaska and other countries where the old chairs will be welcomed. Recently, one of the chairs was sent to Mariachiedza Monastery in Zimbabwe. FedEx generously provided shipping free of charge.
